Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, has entered into a collaborative agreement with Clevenard.com, a multinational online digital marketing company, to provide digital marketing training for its students.
According to the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunday Olowo Samuel, the partnership is designed to equip students with skills beyond the regular curriculum. "Self-employment and job creation are the hallmarks of education," he stated while hosting Mrs. Franka Idemudia, Country Representative of Clevenard.com.
Professor Samuel emphasized that the university aims to provide students with additional skills to make them self-employed and potential employers of labor. "Digital marketing is a highly sought-after skill, and our partnership with Clevenard.com will help reposition our students' working skills," he added.
In her presentation, Mrs. Franka Idemudia, Country Representative of Clevenard.com, highlighted the benefits of the partnership. "Our platform provides digital marketing training to equip students with skills relevant in the global economy," she explained.
Mrs. Idemudia outlined the comprehensive digital training program, which offers:
- Five-day certification training at no cost
- Opportunities for students to leverage Clevenard.com's extensive reach across 25 European Union member countries and several African nations
The University's Centre for Entrepreneurial/Career Studies and Development is pivotal to the entire collaboration, as the Cleveland is collaborating with the University through the Director of the Centre, Professor Momoh Lawal Rilwani, even as the Directorate coordinates the the digital marketing training
The training will be coming up from 27th to 31st May 2025 at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma
