The convener "Revolution Now" group, Omowole Showore has been released by the Department of State Services (DSS) following a court ruling, ordering the DSS to " with immediate effect" release Sowore.
According to report monitored from Sahara Reporters,a medium owned by Mr. Sowore, after about 124days in detention, Sowore was released Thursday evening.
Although, the DSS had refused previous court orders granting Sowore bail on varied conditions, it is however not clear if the DSS will appeal this ruling as the substantive trial is billed to commence on Friday.
The former Presidential candidate was arrested on the 3rd of August in a hotel in Lagos.
