ABUJA HIGH COURT SUSPENDS APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN...

By Mike Aladenika.

An High Court in Jabi area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has ordered  the suspension of the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, pending the determination of a substantive suit.
The Judge, Danlami Senchi, according to the NATION Newspapers online, gave the order following an application of interlocutory injunction asking the court to suspend Oshiomhole, having been suspended as a member of the APC by the party in Edo State

Justice Senchi was of the view that the APC was wrong for retaining Oshiomhole as its National Chairman even when he is under suspension as a member of the party.

The judge ordered Oshiomhole to stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the party and directed the party to cease acknowledging him in that regard.

Justice Senchi restrained the party from allowing Oshiomhole to access the party secretariat henceforth.

Meanwhile, several reactions have started to trail the Abuja court order suspending the APC National chairman, Adams Oshiomhole mostly from camps loyal to the chairman in his home state, Edo that is porportedly in crisis.

The factional  State Publicity Secretary, Chris Azebamwan said "that the ruling has relevance only in terms of its nuisance value. The issues for determination are purely internal affairs of APC and the courts have no jurisdiction. That Judge knows it."

Similarly, a media aid to Adams Oshiomhole, John Mayaki said " the recent court ruling purportedly ordering the suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress has expectedly generated panic and tension in the country, especially Edo state.

Mayaki while "appealling to everyone to remain calm as the matter is firmly under control and our beloved National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, remains the official leader of the party despite the best efforts of those who are opposed to positive reforms and institutional progress."

He asured that the "court order in circulation will be treated legally shortly. There is no cause for alarm. Everyone is urged to go about their normal businesses and remain assured that the working Comrade remains in charge.".

While to those loyal to Governor GODWIN OBASEKI it is justice well deserved and we'll served. A source close to the chairman, Anselm Ojeisua say " for as much as one should not be seeing as celebration the fall of a fellow human being, the court order will restore sanity into the party, it will reposition the party and would have been seen to librate the party from the hand of a democrat turned demigod and an uncontrollable dictator"

Now they the crisis rocking the ruling party, APC has taken a new dimension, the last is yet to be heard of what becomes of the party and it's gladiators.
