COVID-19 : BAUCHI GOVERNOR ON SELF QUARANTINE.

BAUCHI State governor , Senator Bala Abdullahi Mohammed has proceeded on "self isolation" sequel to the report from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control ( NCDC) that the son of the former Vice President of Nigeria, Mohammed Atiku Abubakar tested positive to the CORONAVIRUS upon his return to Nigeria from an international trip.

 According to a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant (Media) to the governor, Mukhtar Gidado, made available to newsmen, Governor Bala Mohammed met with Mohammed Atiku Abubakar in Lagos in the Aero Contract Aircraft where they shook hands and exchanged pleasantries.

Gidado said, although the governor did not and is not exhibiting any symptom of the disease but based on the recommendation of the Nigerian Center for Disease Control ( NCDC), he will remain in isolation in order to avoid the risk of spreading the disease.

Currently, the blood sample of the governor has been taken and is undergoing clinical test, says Gidado, stressing that " for the period of the clinical testing, the governor and his entourage will remain in isolation pending the outcome of the clinical result.
Consequently, the governor is reported to have cancelled all his appointments with immediate effect.
