KADUNA state governor, Malam Nasir El- rufai has tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus.
Addressing KADUNA people and by extension, Nigerians, in a television broadcast, Malam Nasir El-rufai said he "sent his blood sample for the test last week and the result came out POSITIVE".
The governor has immediately proceeded on self quarantine as required, while his deputy, who is also the Chairman of KADUNA state committee for covid-19 takes charge.
El-rufai then enjoined Nigerians to adhere strictly to all the precautionary measures taken by government to curtail the spread as well as treatment of covid-19.
