Bauchi state governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has asured the people of the state of his administration's commitment to tracking and recovery of all state's funds, either looted or misappropriated.

Governor Bala stated this while receiving the final report of the Bauchi State Funds and Assets Recovery Committee in his office.

Senator Bala Mohammed, who set up the committee in July 2019 with the mandate to look into the financial transactions  of government and other agencies of the state with a view to assert  the  prudency or otherwise of public officers, assured Bauchi state people that " plunders of the peoples' Commonwealth will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law".

To indicate his administration's commitment towards actualising this, Governor Bala Mohammed has directed, following the recommendation of the committee in it's report, that "the state's attorney general begins the process for the prosecution of anyone indicted in the report",with an assurance that " there will be no secret cow in the process"
