COVID-19 : MORE WOMEN AND THE VULNERABLES GET FOOD AND CONSUMABLES.

The "help your neighbors" food and consumables initiative of the Edo state Attorney General, professor Yinka Omorogbe entered it's second day, Thursday, as she gave out food materials to women, mothers and widows in Oredo local government area of Edo state.

It was a sight to behold as hundreds of women, irrespective of party affiliations, religion and tribe were attended to as they all went home excited thanking Prof. YINKA OMOROGBE and her associates for the support.

According to Edo state Justice Commissioner, Prof. YINKA OMOROGBE, the initiative is to cushion the effects of the luckdown occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic and the attendant goveernmgo directive to curb it's spread.

Most of these recipients who are mostly  old women, nursing mothers, disabled female and unemployed women thanked the initiator of the "feed your neighbors" initiative, stressing that but for such interventions, they would have found it pretty difficult to sustain the family at this crucial time.

 Some of the benefitiaries then called on others who have the resources to help the less privileged and the vulnerables in our society just as prof. Mrs Yinka Omorogbe has just done.

The Edo state Attorney General who prayed that Nigeria and the world would be able to find lasting remedy and cure for the Covid-19 pandemic, enjoined everyone to support government's initiative in providing palliatives to the masses of the people.

She said "it is our collective responsibilities help others survive this period."
