The Benin High Court still awaits the Director of Public Prosecution's advice on a two count charge murder case before it, three months after the court had directed the accused persons, Edafe Isaac, Obi Ebube, and Solomon Husseini to be remanded in the facility of the Correctional Services pending the DPP'S advice on the case.
The police had charged the three persons of murder of one Osas Obazee while in the custody of the police at the State Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
The deceased, was reported to have been in the same cell with the accused persons before the the three accused persons conspired to kill him.
After diligent investigations by the police, the matter was then charged to court which informed the remand order and the request for DPP's advice on the matter.
SPARKNEWSNAIJA however discovered that three months after, the matter is still pending without a definite time for the DPP's advice to be provided.
