IGBINEDION UNIVERSITY OKADA UNVEILS ITS HOME-MADE MOBILE APP.

The ICT Unit of Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State has unveiled its home-grown mobile application for the University.

The application called “Igbinedion University Mobile” was developed in-house by a staff in the ICT unit, Mr. Timothy Biobaku and was formally presented to the University Management.

The App which, according to the developer, Mr. Biobaku is now on Google PlayStore provides easy access to the University's  platforms including the University Website, the Online Learning Management System (OLMS) for online teaching, the CBT Exams, CBT results, Staff portal, student portal, webmail, campus tour and profile of  University Management team among other features.

Mr. Biobaku while demonstrating the application to the  Management stated that the IOS version that will work with i-phones will soon be launched.

Responding, the Vice-Chancellor,  Prof Lawrence Ikechukwu EZEMONYE,            commended Mr. Timothy Biobaku and the entire ICT team under the  leadership of its Director, Dr. Raph Asibor for their exceptional service for the University .

He praised the team for their sagacity with the online lecture portal which has kept academic activities on course in the University inspite of the Covid-19 lockdown.
