APC APPOINTS 259 PERSONS INTO THE 37 STATE MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION COMMITTEE . . .Shifts inauguration to Wednesday 27th January 2021 . . . Sen. DOMINGO OBENDE and ABBAS BRAIMAH chair Niger and Imo states . . .

Ahead of it's Nationwide state membership registration exercise originally scheduled for Monday but now shifted to Wednesday, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Caretaker / Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee(CECPC) has released the list of the Committee members  to superintend over the exercise in each of the states as well as for, Abuja,  the Federal Capital territory. 

The list which contains the names of Two Hundred and Fifty-Nine(259) persons made up of seven(7) persons per state has Senator DOMINGO OBENDE leading other 6 members of Niger State Committee, Abbas Braimah is expected to lead the Imo state Committee, while Anslem  Agbabi will serve as a member of Ogun State Committee.

In a statement issued and jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary, Caretaker / Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee(CECPC), the Committee would be inaugurated on the 27th of January 2021 as against Monday originally scheduled for the event. 

The statement which indicated that Edo State Committee would be headed by Elder Omeni Sobotie and  Gen. Idris Bello(rtd) as secretary, has it that only chairmen and Secretaries of the states Committee would be inaugurated at the event scheduled for the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja in accordance with the approved Covid-19 protocol.
