When Edo state governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki commenced his
"open up the rural areas"  developmental policy as well as the "ease of doing business" in the state, his vision was not only to open up the space but to encourage investors, both indiginous  and foreign to take advantage of the enabling environment provided by government to invest in any business of their choice.

Varrious communities and villages around Benin metropolis,  like Ugbor, Amagba, Iriri, Arogba, Okhoromi, among many others were opened up with the provision of tarred road network.
