The leadership of Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF) has announced the death of it's immediate past National President, Professor Charles Adeyinka Adisa who passed on at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital,
Enugu on Monday, 28th December, 2020.
According to a statement issued by the incumbent National President, Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF) Prof. Chuks Eboka "Prof. Charles Adisa served as President of Aba Chapter
between 2004-2008 and Chairman of Aba Zone (made up of the South East States) from 2009-2012. He was elected National President in August 2016 for a single three-year tenure, but was given an unprecedented one-year extension on account of his exemplary performance and the consolidation of some of the activities of his executive. He handed over successfully in August 2020."
According to the statement, "Prof Charles Adisa's tenure, as National President brought more dynamism, visibility and recognition to the Fellowship. Under him, NCGF became a strong voice in the
nation’s politics and governance and a dependable partner with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the handling of critical national issues".
Prof. Charles Adisa was a Member, Board of Trustees of the Africa Vision Tract House Society, AVTHS (the Missionary arm of NCGF); Member, Board of Directors, Great Africa Vision Printing Press Limited and Member of the Medical Committee of the Fellowship’s Medical Mission through which total medical care is provided
for communities at no cost to them.
Prof Adisa was said to have led the surgical team which carried out
several surgeries and saving lives in the process.
Prof. Charles Adisa, who was born on the 5th of January, 1965, studied Medicine
and Surgery at the Nigeria’s premier university, the University of Ibadan. He was a distinguished consultant surgeon, member of several professional bodies, widely-published researcher with interest in Oncology and professor of Surgery at the Abia State University/Abia State University Teaching Hospital where he
served as Dean of Medicine and Head of the Department of Surgery.
He is survived by his wife, Chizoba, children, father, relations and numerous
Christian brothers and sisters.
The National President of Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF) described the exit of Professor Adisa as a great loss, not only to his family, but to the Church and the Nation.

Well,it has not been easy for me to write and refer to Proffessor Charles Adeyinka Adisa with past tense.All thesame,we are to give thanks to God in all things,situations and circumstances.No doubt,Proffessor Adisa's leadership gave the fellowship unprecedent media visibility and took the fellowship's mission thrust to an enviable height.He was very celebral and deeply brought his fecund mind and indept research to every discusdion he was involved in.Painful indeed is his home-call is to us,but we submit fully to the will of God.The Amighty God in His infinite wisdom will console the wife,Children,the entire
