SENATOR DOMINGO OBENDE CONDEMNS THE KILLING OF LACOMBE EMAH AT IGARRA . . . Called on the police to bring killers to book.

A leader of the All Progressives Congress APC in Akoko- Edo area of Edo state has condemned, in strong terms, the murder of LACOMBE EMAH by yet to be identified  killers.

According to a statement issued by a former senator representing Edo North at the National Assembly, Dr. Domingo Obende, "I received with the greatest shock,the very recent and unfortunate incident that happened in Igarra in which a young igarra man Lacombe Emah was murdered."

Senator DOMINGO OBENDE who described the murder of LACOMBE as "been wicked, barbaric and unacceptable that someone’s life will be taken like that of a chicken in a community where love and brotherhood once existed with pride." 

"I am not and will never be in support of any act that will sniff life out of a living soul, hence I implore the security agencies, especially the Police to, as a matter of fact and urgency, do their job professionally and fish out those that must have committed this crime" .

Senator Domingo Obende then called on the people to help the police with relevant information that will help them to unravel the people  behind the act. "We must all support the police rather than working on 'hearsay', so that no innocent person will suffer but justice melted on the culprits" .

"The moment the foundation of investigation becomes a hearsay, then the substance of the matter and what led to what happened would’ve been lost and this should not happen as far as this case is concerned". 

Senator Domingo Obende said "as a Leader , it breaks my heart that the peace and unity we have worked hard to preserve may be jeopardised if we don’t take the proper steps to bring the criminals to justice . Therefore , I will encourage  anyone who has information that can lead to the arrest of those who perpetrated this crime to come out and give the information to the Police for proper investigation and prosecution of such without fear or favour". 

"For the family of the deceased, I pray God will give them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss and may the gentle soul of the young man rest in peace in Jesus name.

"Igarra must continue to be one big and peaceful community and  I advise that we MUST all come together to add our meaningful value to grow our community for posterity sake".
