SOKOTO : APC REVALIDATION EXERCISE WILL BETTER REPOSITION THE PARTY AND ERADICATE INSECURITY IN NIGERIA . . . Senator Abba Aliyu

As the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) continues with it's Nationwide  Revalidation  cum registration   exercise, the North West Zonal Chairman, Senator Abba Aliyu, has said "the Exercise will help to eradicate insecurity in no small measure in the country as well as strengthen the party for better governance and services to the people"

Speaking to newsmen at a conference in Sokoto,Senator Abba Aliyu said he "was in the state to monitor the level of compliance with the directive of the party's National Caretaker Committee on the Exercise"

According to Senator Aliyu "the Exercise in Sokoto state is so peaceful and the turnout impressive"

He said "the Exercise is the Brain Child of President Muhammadu Buhari hence his instruction that no person should be denied the right of being Registered  as a member of the party, stressing that all members are equal joiners of the party."

"The revalidation Exercise,  as an indept Project, is being decentralised  starting from Polling unit , to ward level and other levels. It is conceived to ensure improved method of Electioneering Activities in the Country Nigeria."

While Fielding questions from newsmen, Senator Abba Aliyu said "the whole exercise will be concluded within the stipulated 14 Days and that, so far, it has revalidated over 70% of the expected numbers of the members of the party.  Senator Abba Aliyu however expressed concern over most of its problems saying "it has been that of shortage of the forms for the Program even as he assured the members that no stone will be left unturned to make the Exercise a Successful Venture."
