BENIN ELITE LIONS CLUB INDUCTS NEW MEMBERS . . . Emphasises need for Service delivery.

Noted for it's Service to humanity, the Lions Club International, through it's Benin Elite club has expanded it's coast with the induction of fresh blood into it's Membership, with a view to re- energize it's Services to humanity.

Speaking at the induction ceremony in Benin City, the Charter President, Benin Elite Lion Club, Lion Dewnny Eboh said the club which was founded on the principles of Service to mankind will continue to live up to this expectation.


Lion Eboh enjoined newly inducted members to see their Membership of the club as a call to Service which must put others and the society first and above self.

One of the newly inductees, Lion Orhewere Oaikhena David in a chat with SPARKNEWSNAIJA said his induction is a dream fullfilled as he, as well as many other new inductees will sharpen their spirit of Service to humanity with the Lion Club Membership.


Lions Clubs International (LCI) is an international non-political service organization established originally in 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, by Melvin Jones, but now headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois.

As of January 2020, it had over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members (including the youth wing Leo) in more than 200 countries around the world.
