The Muslim community all over the world, with special reference to Nigeria has commenced the 2021 Ramadan Fasting.
The commencement was signaled by a statement issued by the Sultan of SOKOTO directing Muslim faithful to commence fasting after going through the report of the moon sighting Committee.
The Sultan was quoted as saying that the fasting would commence on Tuesday, the 13th of April, 2021.
SPARKNEWSNAIJA's sokoto state correspondent reports that the moon was sighted across Nigeria and communicated to the Moon sighting Committee who accordingly informed the Sultan.
