IGBINEDION UNIVERSITY OKADA CELEBRATES 22ND FOUNDER'S DAY. . . Collaborates with global institutions.

NIGERIA'S  premier private  University, Igbinedion University Okada's recently celebrated it's  twenty-second year of existence as a Frontline citadel of global learning where academic calendar is faithfully run without interruption. 
As part of the lined up of activities for the 2021 celebration, the University's main campus road was Commissioned and named after it's founder and Chancellor, Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, among other activities. 

Addressing guests, management and students, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye said the University is improving greatly on the principle that established the institution years back. 
Prof. Ezemonye  said the products of Igbinedion University Okada are competing favourably in the global labour market, stressing that "the year 2021 Founder's Day celebration with the theme: 'INDUSTRIALIZATION: The Role of Academia, Private Sector Initiative and Government Enabling Environment'.
In his address, the Chancellor of the University, Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion represented by the Deputy Chancellor and former two-time governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Igbinedion who spoke via zoom commended "the past and present management team of the University for keeping the dreams of the founder alive". 
Other speakers which includes the Canadian High Commissioner, Nicolas Simard, the President and Founder, Zurich Elite Business School, Switzerland, Prof. Adonis-Emmanouil Fragkakis, Dr. Joe Nyuma among others commended the achievement of Igbinedion University, Okada in the last twenty-two years, promising to sustain as well as open a new chapter of co-operation of mutual benefits with the University. 
Highpoint of the event is the comfirment  of meritorious awards on alumni of the University and other professionals who distinguished themselves in their varrious fields of endeavor, as we as unveiling the alumni association's vests and logo, coupled with the presentation of an 18-seater bus.
