The Federal Government of Nigeria has renewed the appointment of Prof. Darlington Obaseki as Chief Medical Director, University of Benin Teaching Hospiital (UBTH) Benin city.

Head, Public Relations Unit, in Benin City, the CMD received the letter of apointment for his second term  from the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire  on Monday, in Abuja

While congratulating the CMD for his reappointment,  the minister of Health,  described the renewal of the appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari as an attestation to the fact that he has performed well during  his first tenure, while urging  him not to rest on his oars and work harder to exceed his achievements.

Prof. Obaseki has, since his first appointment as CMD, on 17th August, 2017 embarked on a massive transformation of the hospital's infrastructure and services.
