An Oredo magistrate court sitting in Benin City has issued a bench warrant of arrest against one KENNEDY OMOREGBEE who was standing trials in a malicious damage and unlawful convertion case, contrary to Sections 516, 390(9), 451of the criminal code.
In the warrant of arrest issued on the signature of the presiding magistrate, Oyekpen. V. E. (Mrs) directed the Nigerian police and all police officers to arrest Kennedy OMOREGBEE wherever he is found as he has abused the bail privilege earlier given granted him by the court as he refused to appear in court to continue his trials.
Meanwhile, One Alex Ogbebor who stood surety for Kennedy OMOREGBEE on bail, is currently remanded at the state police headquarters for failure to produce Kennedy on the request of the court.
Kennedy Omorogbee and one other are standing trial, according to court documents, alleged stealing, malicious damage and unlawful conversion of a palm plantation, in Ikpobo- Okha LGA, property of one Barr. Jefferson Uwoghiren.
