TRESPASSERS ON BENIN PALACE LANDS ARE CULPABLE. . . Curtis Ugbo.

The palace of the oba of Benin has issued a stern warning as well as notification for rectification of ownership for anyone or group of persons who may have, directly or indirectly encroached or trespassed on any part of the land belonging to the one of Benin in any of the communities to report immediately to the palace. 

The palace, in a statement issued by the office of the Private Debt and Land Recovery Agent to the Oba of Benin and signed by Curtis Eghosa Ugbo said "This is to inform/warn the general public that anyone who is currently residing or has an undeveloped/developed land(s) in any Landed property that has been earmarked for our Oba of Benin in any community in Benin kingdom by way of trespass or encroachment should immediately report to the office of the BENIN TRADITIONAL COUNCIL (BTC) or call  08068521750 or 08131162616  with his/her landed document for verifications". 

The statement further said  "Failure to comply as soon as possible shall attract Legal consequences for it is no longer business as usual."
