The former governor of Edo State and a Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun has been described as "a unique personality, a father-figure to many, and an embodiment of humility despite his mountain-top and intimidating achievements in life".
This commendation was contained in a birthday message and good wishes to the octogenarian administrator issued by a former Senator who represented Edo North Senatorial district of Edo State at the 7th Senate (2011-2015) Senator Domingo Obende.
Senator Domingo Obende in the statement he personality signed, copy of which was made available to SPARKNEWSNAIJA, described Chief Oyegun as "a man an infectious humility which has endeared him to many."
