SENATE CONDOLES EDO GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OVER PROF. VICTOR UWAIFO'S DEATH.

The Senate in their Wednesday session paid glowing tribute to the person of NIGERIA'S Frontline musician, artist and cultural ambassador, Prof. Victor Efosa Uwaifo who died recently. 

Senator Matthew Urhoghide, representing Edo South Senatorial district, while introducing the demise of Prof Uwaifo, under matter of national importance said Prof Uwaifo had represented the Nation and has been a quality cultural ambassador of the Nation. 
Senator Urhoghide said the Prof Uwaifo's travels across the globe had put Nigeria on global cultural map which earned him National ward. 

While asking the Senate for a minute silence in honour of Late Victor Uwaifo, Senate president, Hamad Lawal then, unbehalf of the Senate, condoled the government and people of Edo state over the death of the music icon.
