WE MUST EXPAND THE FRONTIER OF ANTI HUMAN TRAFFICKING WAR . . . DG NAPTIP

Keffi, in Nasarawa state, is playing host to Journalists and media executives across Nigeria, courtesy of NAPTIP and it's friendly agencies as they converged for a 3 day Training and Capacity Development Orientation, Development of Standard Reporting Template of The Trafficking in Persons Media Core and Officers of Press and Public Relations Unit. 

Declaring the program open, the 
Director-General,
National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons(NAPTIP), 
DR. FATIMA WAZIRI-AZI, told participants to join hands to "crusade and wage war against human trafficking". 
DR. FATIMA WAZIRI-AZI who was represented by the Director, Training and Manpower Development, Arinze Orakwe, said "the criminal human trafficking network is so neatly woven that needs joint and collaborative efforts to counter". 

NAPTIP DG said the "need to interface with the media and media executives is very apt now than ever as our agency is more determined, than ever, to take the battle to the domain of the criminals". 

In their various contributions, the Representatives of the Police, Nigeria Immigration Service and other collaborative agencies enjoined participating media executives to team up with NAPTIP in the war against human trafficking.
The 3 day Training and Capacity Development will avail participants the opportunity to be trained in all that they need to know about the Trafficking business and it's ills on humanity.
