EDO GOVERNOR EXPANDS STATE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL, APPOINTS MORE COMMISSIONERS . . . PDP Publicity Secretary tops the list.

Edo state governor, Mr. Godwin OBASEKI has approved the appointment of Seven Nigerians as commissioners and one Special Adviser, all aimed at strengthening governance and administration of the state. 

The secretary to the State government, Osarodion Ogie ESQ in a statement issued in Benin City, Thursday, said the commissioner designates include the state publicity Secretary of PDP, Chris Nehikhare, Omololu Ojehomo.O.  Braimoh Afie,  Stephen  idenhenre,  Osasere Evbuomwan,  Donald Okogbe, Bamidele Obaitan, while Lady Uwa Osunbor was appointed the Special Assistance to the governor on Political matters for Edo south. 

The statement said the commissioner nominees whose names have been forwarded to the state House of Assembly would be screened and cleared before been sworn in.
