GLOBAL PEACE : ROTARY CLUB INTERNATIONAL SEEK RESOLUTION OF GLOBAL HOSTILITIES, PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE.

As the Russian - Ukraine hostilities continues with variety of alliances formed, the Rotary club international has called for a cease fire while embracing negotiation and diplomacy.

Rotary Club of New Benin in  collaboration with the Rotaract Club of University of Benin and Global Polytechnic, Obe, made the appeal for peace, all over the world.

Led by its President Engr. Meshaic Okhumeode on an advocacy visit to the secretariat of Edo State Council of the NUJ in Benin in commemoration of the World Peace Day, the youngsters gave kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari for his assent to the newly signed electoral law.

They  called for an end to war all over the world while appealing for peace and unity in all ramifications irrespective of the situation. 

Responding,  the Secretary,  Edo Council of the NUJ who received them on behalf of the union charged them to be law abiding and be focused on their objectives.
