NASS 2023 :WE WILL REPRODUCE ANCIENT BENIN KINGDOM IN A MODERN WAY TO MAKE IT THE HUB OF TOURISM IN AFRICA. . . Osaro Onaiwu Jnr.

"The evergreen records of Benin Kingdom in culture, artistry, craft,  administration, ancient city masterplan, security architecture among other qualities of our people which has become subjects  in historical clases of institutions will be brought back with modern touches to serve as professions and modern source of revenue for our people."

This was the view of the PDP frontline  House of Representatives aspirant, Osaro Onaiwu Jnr while chatting with journalists in Benin City. 

Osaro Onaiwu Jnr who is seeking the support of members and delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to contest the 2023 election to represent Oredo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly  Said "my people should realise the fact that our lost artefacts that are been returned today are the expertise work of our forefathers that brought great recognition to the kingdom then and to the city now."

"I will, when elected, improve and modernise the production process of our bronze casting, wood carving, and related crafts to a global standard without loosing our history and family connection to the process."

"The igun and the other areas that are noted for these productions would be given desired attention to a world class standard that would make them tourist attractions and revenue yielding machines for the people, the kingdom and the State."

The frontline PDP House of Representatives aspirant  said Edo culture is so rich to the extent it can and should attract  global patronage if well packaged which he intends to do when elected. 

"I will re-introduce the Bini cultural heritage to the globe and make tourism a selling point for job creation and empowerment of our people because our thinking  and action would be Edo first."
