The news came as a rude shock lacking in believability, yet it soon dissolved into reality. This has left many befuddled. The trauma brought by this transition is difficult to bear. We however take solace in your imperishable legacies.
You were born Noble and by dint of hard work and exposure, you REDEFINED and REINFORCED nobility by being more trustworthy, caring, forthright in convictions, dependable and more generous in prescribing practical solutions to persons in dire needs.
There is this saying that "man is not to live to the future as it is described to him, but can live to the real future by living to the present". Evidently, therefore, you have lived to the future.
As an accomplished elite, you did not collude to put your people, including the unborn in a tight leash and penitentiary. For this the Angels shall crow your citation before God and amplify your fortitude and bravery as the custodian of Okpo 'N khua pride, culture and cognomen.
It is common knowledge that whenever falsehood is being funneled into public space, you gave a vocal voice of courage in the interest of generational continuity believing that there is a speculative possibility that; to maintain eerie silence in times and seasons of doubts, is to defraud the people by the untruth.
Your stance is in consonance with the dictates and the Hallmark of your role as the leader of the people. Accordingly, you upheld justice. You believed that "justice will not be served until those who are not affected are as outraged as those who are". You bore the the truth unfazed, knowing that only a cheap indolent will sell his people's destiny and heritage, or feign ignorance of problems of existential threat to his domain, and that failure in this onerous responsibility amounts to disastrous disappointment.
The totality of your life style, your personage, your pedigree, your carriage, and your broad smiles, shall remain a commemorative inscriptions on golden monument on pedestal as a reminder that those who habitually frown, holler, or who are perpetually livid in hate and anger, are not candidates for leadership.
Our Chief, our revered Chief, The Elo of Ewatto Kingdom, you will forever be REMEMBERED for your Messianic disposition in our contemporary society where some persons are egregiously churlish and inept.
In all of these, we are not despaired but praying fervently to God for the assured replacement.
God bless your soul. Amen.
