Ahead of the PDP national primaries leading to the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, Sokoto state governor, Alhaji Aminu Waziri TAMBUWAL has assured Nigerians that upon his election as Nigeria's president, he lwill embark on much desired restructuring that would reflect the true federal principle in the governance of Nigeria.

Governor TAMBUWAL who stated this in benin city while addressing delegates of Edo state peoples' Democratic Party PDP said "Nigeria has been at the emergency unit awaiting surgery. It will only take a man who has gone through the system, with sufficient understanding of the diversity of our Nation to fix the rot in our system".

"As a trained Lawyer, I understand the needs and workings of the judiciary. As a former legislator who rose to the level of speaker House of Representatives, I understand the legislature. As a governor, I also understand the workings of the executive. So if Nigeria needs the best of brains to handle the current challenges, I am one of the best."

Governor Aminu Waziri TAMBUWAL enjoined the PDP delegates to "find me good, fit and proper to be the party's Candidate in the 2023 presidential election.

"I represent the bridge between the old and the youths of Nigeria. I have the prerequisite to lead Nigeria out of its current wood and challenges."

On Deborah Samuel saga, governor Tambuwal said "the situation is highly regrettable. It not acceptable and we will do  everything possible within the confines of the law to get to the roots of the matter.

Governor Aminu Waziri TAMBUWAL was in Edo state as part of his nationwide  tour designed to meet with delegates ahead of the party's primaries.
