APC PRIMARIES : SENATOR DOMINGO OBENDE CONGRATULATES BOLA TINUBU, CALLS FOR UNITY AHEAD OF 2023 ELECTIONS.

Following the successful completion of the National convention of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC in Abuja which culminated in the overwhelming victory for the National leader of the party and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Ahmeed Bola Tinubu as the party's flagbearer, Edo state born frontline leader of the party, Senator Doningo Obende has sent a congratulatory message to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in which he described the victory as well deserving. 

In a statement personally signed by Senator Obende, copy of which was made available to SPARKNEWSNAIJA, he said "our great and dynamic leader, your victory at the convention could not be less deserving, considering your ever consistent and convinction on any matter that concerns our party, our nation and our people."

"With your victory, my conviction about Nigeria coming back on track is more rekindled ever than before. I thank God for giving you this ruggedness and doggedness to fight this Victorious battle. God will give you the strength, capacity and absolute courage to deliver Nigeria for good in Jesus name.

Senator Domingo Obende said "your landslide victory is a testimony of the level of confidence reposed in you by Nigerians, which is attributable to your leadership qualities and experience in politics, and sense of engagement.

"Over the years, you have shown that you are a detribalized leader and your sincere service to humanity has brought you closer to the masses of this Country.

"The voting pattern indeed represents a resounding vote of confidence by the largest majority of party faithfuls and leaders in your capacity to lead the party to another victory.

" our dear Jagaban of the world, your victory has also bestowed upon you additional responsibility of reuniting our members who, before now, seemed to have been divided on multiple platforms, which may affect our performance in the election. I am not in any doubt of your long tested capability to mobilize us all for a worthy course. 

"As our leader in the party, it is time to galvanize supports and calm frayed nerves, which is a norm in any electoral process. The reconciliation process must start immediately. The time has come to be United for victory. 

The Akoko-Edo born senator Domingo Obende while praying for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for God to grant him the Grace, the Strenght, the Skill and all it takes to lead the party to victory as well as lead Nigeria to it's eldorado, enjoined party members and leaders to join hands with Asiwaju Tinubu to deliver our party, the APC, at the 2023 General Election as I whole heartedly wish you success in all ways.

Senator Domingo then concludes saying "I will not forget to thank my colleague, a woman of character and value, Her Excellency Sen. Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu who decided to sacrifice her political journey at the Senate with brighter chances of becoming one of the Leaders in the National Assembly to give her all to the husband. We Give God all the glory that the project has taken off successfully and with God we shall smile on Victory day."
