WE WANT TO WIN HEALTY COMPETITORS, NOT SICK ONES. . . Edo Labour Party Chairman.

By Mike ALADENIKA.

The Chairman of the Edo State Chapter of Labour Party, Comrade Ogbaloi Kelly    said Labour party would want to compete and win healthy competitors in 2023 general elections.

Comrade  Ogbaloi, said,  Labour would not take advantage of any intra party squabbles of any  political party that might be going through crisis at the moment.

According to him,  "Labour Party is praying and hoping that every political party having any internal problem should be able to overcome and resolve every of their internal squabbles and come out strong so that they would be healthy and strong as they come into the contest.
He said, "Labour Party stands out as the party to beat. Labour party is aware that other parties in the contest are also preparing for the contest and as such  Labour Party is working extra hard for the contest."

"Labour Party is not prepared to take advantage of any political party's intra party crisis for political gains. It is therefore our prayers that all  the parties for the contest should be able to extricate themselves from whatever impediments  that can hinder their proper  participation  and be able to come out strong  for the contest."

He added that,  "our reason is that we want to beat  healthy competitors , we want to win healthy competitors not sick ones and as such we won't take  advantage of what ever crisis or impediments any political party is currently going through.
Still speaking, Comrade Ogbaloi observed that referring to Peter Obi's massive supporters as Social media propagandists is erroneously defensive adding that the Labour party would not want to be distracted by such illusion that labour is only visible on social media.

According to him, "that is why we are praying for other political parties to be well and be removed from every incumbrances  that could hinder them so that when we win, it would be clear to all that it is a clean contest deservedly won, he concluded.
