By Mike ALADENIKA.

Hundreds of the newly matriculated students of Edo State owned Ambrose Alli University, AAU, Ekpoma, shut out the university campus to movement in protest of what the called "illegal and unexplainable newly introduced fee to be paid by fresh students.
The students who refused all logical explanations to embrace dialogue with a view to arrive at a workable compromise between the management and the students barricade and effecting a permanent closure of the main gate leading to the school, thereby disrupting both human and vehicular movements into the campus.
After about over an hour of grandstanding, the students agreed to the proposal to converge at the university's central administrative block where they were to be addressed by the management.

The acting Deputy-Vice Chancellor, Administration, who addressed the protesting students urged them "to embrace dialogue in all issues so as to get solutions."

He urged them to "select a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 representative to interface with the management to be headed by the acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin.
SPARKNEWSNAIJA authoritatively reports that the meeting between the management of Ambrose Alli Univerity, Ekpoma and the protesting students has commenced.
