INTERCONTINENTAL PAINT OPENS SOUTH-SOUTH REGIONAL OFFICE IN BENIN.

One of the country's  paint manufacturer, INTERCONTINENTAL PAINT has expanded its  market base in the country with the opening of a  regional office in Benin, Edo state capital which will control the affairs of the company in  the  South South zone of the country.
 
The commissioning ceremony which was chaired by the former Edo state Governor, Chief Lucky Igbinedion was attended by captains of industries and religious leaders  across the state,  amongst whom was Rev and Mrs Wale Ajayi of the Church of God mission international, Benin city.

In his remarks at the ceremony, the former Edo State Governor, Chief  Igbinedion' congratulates  the Managing Director of the paint manufacturing company, Mr Aigbe Omoregbe  for believing in and actualizing his vision of being a  paint manufacturer at a point when the environment was, not in anyway, rosy.
He appreciated Mr Aigbe's contributions  in supporting  the government to provide employment for the teeming Youths while also calling on the government  to provide an enabling environment through the provision of infrastructure for business to thrive.

Earlier, the Managing Director of INTERCONTINENTAL PAINTS, Mr Aigbe Omoregbe in his welcome address, pour encomium on the duo of  former governor, chief Igbinedion and Chief John Adun of Bob lzua conglomerate for supporting the growth of the company  when it mattered most.
According to him, "the company which started as a one man affair in   Lagos in  2006  with a take off capital  of 18,000 naira  has now grown to become a wholly indigenous company with offices in Nigeria and overseas and  assent worth over a million dollars."

The  vision of the company in  his words is " to become the benchmark for paint production and services in Africa."

 He further said the choice of Benin as the headquarters of  South- South regional office instead of Port Harcourt which is the zone headquarters is deliberate and significant way to display his affection to his state of origin, Edo state.
 
The highlights of the ceremony was the conferment of  award to the duo of the former governor, Chief Igbinedion
 and the popular transporter,  chief John Osamede Adun for being supportive to the growth of the company.

 
The cutting of the ribbon  to formally declare the Benin zonal office and depot open for business while the cutting of symbolic cake was performed  by the  duo of Rev Mrs wale Ajayi and former governor, Lucky Igbinedion'.
