The Edo state chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has declared that it will always stand by Edo people to check the directionless and inhuman government in Edo state.
The party, in a statement issued by it's state publicity secretary,Prince Peter Uwadiae-Igbingie said "the state has been subjected to bad leadership since the assumption of office by Mr Godwin Obaseki, stressing that regardless of whatever painting the media handlers of the government may have resulted to, our people have finally lost confidence in the government".
" Is it the inhuman demolition of peoples properties in various communities In fragrant disobedience of court pronouncement, or the unwarranted and unguarded harrassment of the people by government agencies that would be applauded?"
The statement further said "because the government and it's party( the PDP) has discovered it's unpopular stand with the people has resulted to a face saving tactics by mandating civil servants and rented crowd to grace the visit of their presidential candidate to benin".
"Edo people can never be decieved any longer even as the popularity of the government and it's faction of pdp keeps dwindling, we will stand by our people to redefine their fortunes and get our state out of the claws of this vampire of a government".
The APC publicity Secretary then enjoined Edo state people to reject the PDP and all it's candidates in all the forth coming elections.
