New Sawmillers Association Executive Holds State Leadership Meeting, Desolves Zonal Offices.

The newly elected leadership of the Edo State Sawmillers Association, under the leadership of Comrade Friday Aguakhian has dissolved, with immediate effect, all the zonal leadership thereby setting up care-taker committee to administer the zones pending the conduct of elections in one month.

Addressing newsmen after the maiden and enlarged leadership meeting, the State President, Comrade Friday Aguakhian, said the meeting was necessitated to by the urgency to reposition the association for greater heights. 

Comrade Friday Aguakhian said "the issue of illegal ticketing by some elements who are not members of the association is hereby prohibited," streessing that "further actions in this direction will be visited with stern action."

The Edo State President said "our administration will work for you, we will protect your business and we will defend all our members in their legitimate businesses"

Some of the leaders of the Association who spoke with journalists at the end of the meeting called on all sawmillers in the state to come on board, work with the new leadership with all determination to succeed.
