Obaseki's Plans For Nigeria Is Treasonable. Put him on security watch. . . APC tells FG, security Agencies.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has describe the statement  credited to Edo state governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, to the effect that Nigeria will break up if APC wins the 2023 general election, as one coming from someone with high degree of psychiatric challenges or someone that has  grand plans to destabilise the country in the face of imminent failure staring at them at the face. 

This statement which was contained in a release issued  by the party, APC, in Benin City said "Governor Godwin Obaseki's  claim that Nigerian will break if the APC's  presidential candidate Senator Asiwaju Bola Tinubu wins the presidential election come 2023 is the most unguided and intellectually bereft statement to have come from any person sitting in the corridor of governance in a democratic Nation like ours (Nigerian).

"What temerity and audacity does Governor Godwin Obaseki possess to speak of a man who transformed and gave Lagos a road map to economic and political posterity among the comity of states despite the proclivity and inclinations of the Olusegun Obasanjo led PDP Federal Government."

The press release which was signed by the State Publicity Secretary, All Progressive Congress, Edo State. Prince Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie said

"Governor Godwin Obaseki lacks the intellectual sagacity and educational behest to enthrone a democratic atmosphere and benevolence in Edo State. The short sightedness and shallow memories of Governor Godwin Obaseki were further exposed by his Statement, when he venture into history to uncover the fact that in less than three (3) years the same Governor Godwin Obaseki rigorously and without any limit, campaigned for the APC at both the State and federal levels, eulogizing the effect of senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos political template."

"Governor Godwin Obaseki invoked a dire need for a political and legal examinations of all the none democratic policies that he has bestowed on Edo people from the ceaseless and unending borrowing without any corresponding effect on the economy of Edo State to the monumental destructions of the know legacies of Edo State like the modern library, central hospital, sales of pediatric ward of the central hospital, to the conduit pipe of Edo Best and his primordial sentiments of destruction of private properties and illegal occupation of privately own land without regards to rule of law. 

"One must wonder why Governor Godwin Obaseki has summersaulted into political misfit and bareness by preaching divisiveness and treasonable attribute whose consequences are perilous to a sovereign Nation like Nigeria. There is no gainsaying the fact that it will take a mileage for a man who claimed to have read Classics to appreciate the economic variables that determine the strength of any country’s currency in the competitive global market. Let Governor Godwin Obaseki be told that the bargaining strength of the nation in the global market is not only measured with the printing of the currency as he claimed, but a combination of other basic economic factors prevailing globally. 

The APC said Governor Obaseki administration of Edo state could not be compared to that of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in any parameter, stressing that "If we situate the legacies of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos State albeit Nigerian with the moribund  statement of Governor Godwin Obaseki, it will unveiled the hollow knowledge of the Governor of a democratic hallmark in a multi-party democracy where many parties engaged in contestation under a peaceful and enduring atmosphere devoid of rancor and frivolities. 

"We the APC therefore as a party call on the federal Government to keep his security apparatus in place and beam the nation security search light and intelligence gathering to Governor Godwin Obaseki and the party he represents, the PDP, as there is the great tendency for him and his co-travellers to cause havoc before, during and after the elections.

"We call on the Edo people and Nigerians at large, to treat the unguided statement of Governor Godwin Obaseki as politically inconsequential and intellectually frailty and exercise their franchise for the great Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC in the Presidential election.
