Nigerians have been called upon to vote, enmas, for the presidential  candidates of the Peoples Democrtaic Party(PDP) in the 2023 presidential elections as this will be the only saving grace to get Nigeria out of it's current colossal political cum economic quagmire which the ruling All Progressives Congress Federal government has put it.

Making the call in be in city at an interactive session with journalists, the Special Assistant to Delta State governor on Youths and community development, Hon David Odeli said "Nigeria will only recover her  lost glory if the duo of Atiku Abubakar and Senator  ifeanyi Okowa emerge as President and Vice president of Nigeria respectively, in the 2023 general election.

"Sounding like an incurable optimist who believes that the locust years of the APC government which has not only ruined but also left the country in tatters is something that can be rolled back if Nigerians are willing to cast their trust in the Atiku/Okowa joint ticket.

David Odeli further opined that "the combination of the duo holds a lot of prospect for both Nigeria and Nigerians, stating that both Atiku Abubakar and Senator Okowa have been tested, trusted and also brimming with a lot of exciting policies and programmes that can rapidly lift the people out of poverty and doldrums and also restore the country's lost glory."

He went further to urge the citizens to make sure they vote massively for the Atiku/Okowa joint ticket as a way of guaranteeing that Nigeria is rescued from the hands of the vultures and vagabonds  in power.

The University of Benin trained political scientist and security consultant said "the APC and it's President Buhari led government has reduced Nigeria to nothing in all ramifications. How best can we compare Nigeria of today with what the PDP handed over them? Within seven years in office APC bastardised our economy to the extent that common stable food is now out of the reach of Nigerians."

"Nigeria is bleeding under the watch of the APC. Agreed, there are global indices that may also influence things in Nigeria but the Federal Government has not displayed sufficient knowledge about contemporary issues to the effect that it will grow the nation. Check our industries, our agricultural sector, Education, Health among other sectors are begging for attention."

"This desired attention can only be gotten from the duo of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Ifeanyi Okowa who are today the most celebrated personality who will restore the nation's lost glory. As Nigerians, we must do ourselves the good by joining hands to rescue Nigeria".
"Atiku and Okowa possess the requisite democratic credentials to rescue the Nigerian state and restore the much cherished good old days  when Nigerians could afford to sleep in their homes at night with both eyes closed", Hon Odeli lashed out heavily at the APC government and accused it of doing nothing to abate the rising spate of insecurity, the rescue of the devalued Naira, hyperinflation and the dearth of infrastructure.

On the supposed power tussle between the present Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, who is also the PDP vice presidential candidate and a former governor of the state, Chief James Ibori, Hon Odeli said "the matter is purely a family affair which  is being resolved with the help of party elders and other stakeholders".

"Our Leader and former governor, Chief Ibori is a foremost national leader and a core party man, there is no way he will subscribe to destroying the house he and his political foot soldiers slaved to build and made invisible and unbeatable in the state."

Commenting on the internal strife between the party and five of its governors, otherwise referred to as the G5, Hon Odile expressed hope in the ability of the party's internal dispute resolution mechanism to settle the rift in the shortest possible time.

In particular, Hon Odile said he is hopeful that Nigerians will elect the duo of Atiku and Okowa in the 2023 election
