2023 ELECTION. INEC Takes Delivery Of Sensitive Election Material.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Sokoto, has taken delivery of all the sensitive electoral materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN,  Sokoto for onward distribution to all the 23 local government areas in the State.

In his address at  the handing over ceremony of  the sensitive materials by CBN, Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Dr. Nura Ali said the items are made up of Ballot Papers for Presidential, Senatorial and Representatives Elections. 

 While  fielding questions from Journalists, the REC said "other items includes the Result Sheets, Collation Forms, Registration Area Collation Forms and Election Returning Forms.


On the BEAVERS, Nura Ali said "this will be the next item to be sent to all the appropriate Centers in readiness for the Election Conduct come February 25, 2023.

It would be recalled that the State's Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC, recently in a Chart with SPARKNEWSNAIJA Correspondent stated how ready and prepared INEC is concerning the conduct of the Election in all nooks and cranny of Sokoto State, Nigeria.

 Members of the European Union who have been in the state for the past number of days were also present during the Handing Over Exercise.
