NPC Disclaims Trending Recruitment Link, Says, Ours Have Since Closed.

The National Population Commission NPC has distanced itself, the office and personnel form the "ad-hoc recruitment link currently trending on some social media handles requesting unsuspecting Nigerians to register for employment as ad-hoc staff to  conduct the 2023 general census. 

NPC in a statement posted on its tweeter handle said " our attention has been drawn to a fake ad-hoc recruitment link 'https://ad-hoc.npc.programagency.info' been circulated by some unknown persons on various social media platforms, frequently visited sites and blogs with the intention to defraud unsuspecting citizens.

"The commission wishes to inform the public that the official link for the 2023 census ad-hoc Recruitment exercise 'https://2023censusadhocrecruitment.nationalpopulation.org.ng' has been closed for applications.

The NPC statement further said "We are currently screening and approving applications of the potential candidates for the 2023 census exercise. 

NPC therefore "implore Nigerians to disregard the fake link and avoid falling victims to swindlers, steering that 2023 census Ad-hoc staff recruitment is completely free of charge.
