2023 CENSUS : NPC Seeks CJN's Understanding On Census Tribunal.

Ahead of the 2023 Census, the chairman, National Population Commission, NPC, Hon Nasir Isa Kwarra has continued his official interface with institutions, personalities and stake holders with a view to getting all on board for a successful headcount project in Nigeria. 

The latest consultation took  Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra alongside the Members, Director-General and the Management Staff of the Commission on a working visit to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, GCON in his office at the Nigeria Supreme Court Complex, Abuja, today.

The visit is part of the NPC’s strategic engagements with key stakeholders to ensure successful conduct of the first digital Census in Nigeria.

The discussion focused on the Judiciary setting up 2023 Census Tribunal and assigning Magistrates to administer Oath of Secrecy on the 2023 Census Functionaries.
