Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented certificates of return to senators elected to the 10th National Assembly.
The certificates were presented on Tuesday at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja to the 109 Senator - Elect at a well attended ceremony.
Among the Senator-Elect thus certificated are Okpebholo Monday of the APC representing Edo Central Senatorial District, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole of the APC, representing Edo North Senatorial District and Bar. Neda Imasuen of the Labour Party, representing Edo south Senatorial District.
In a chat with Newsmen after receiving his certificate, Senator-Elect, Bar. Neda Imasuen thanked Benin people and the electorates in Edo south for the trust and confidence placed on him and the Labour party, stressing with assurances that he will represent the interest of the Benin people, Edo State, and Nigeria in all his actions and activities as a Senator.
"Your trust and votes for me and the Labour party will never be misplaced. I can assure you that I will put-in my best ability to make sure that our people's interest is well articulated at the National level of legislation.
On the forth coming Edo State House of Assembly Election scheduled for the 11th of March 2023, Bar Neda Imasuen says "we must perfect the rescue mission of our state. I am appealing to the Electorates in Edo state to come out enmas to elect Labour Party Candidates for the House of Assembly.
" Labour Party Candidates will represent your interest at the Legislative arm in Edo state better."
