With just few days to the formal commencement of the 2023 population and housing census, the National Population Commission has announced the postponement of the training of supervisors and enumerators at the local government levels across the country.
NPC in a statement issued and signed on it's tweeter handle,by the Director, Public Affairs, Dr. Isiaka Yahaya " the commission wish to inform the general public that the LGA-Level training of Supervisors and Enumerators scheduled to commence tomorrow, 13th April, 2023 has been postponed due to some emerging issues.
According to the statement, "a new date would be communicated to the general public in due course", while giving further assurances "that the commission remains committed to conduct a credible and acceptable 2023 Census as all preparations are in top gear"
NPC then urged Nigerians "to disregard any message contrary to this information".
