It Is Unafrican To See Old People Go Hungry. . . We Must Find A Way To Feed Them. . .CEO Tolulope Foundation.

The ancient city of Ibadan, Oyo State, South-West Nigeria was agog with celebration when Tolulope Foundation Flagged it "Let's Feed The Old" project with the provision of household, cash backup and food items to some old people selected from three local government areas of oyo state.

"Let's Feed The Old", a brain child of Tolulope Aladenika, founder and Chief Executive Officer of TOLULOPE FOUNDATION, is designed to stand-in-gap for the old but disadvantaged or less privileged in our society.

According to Tolulope Aladenika, "there are too many people in our society today that cannot afford mere single meal let alone three square meals. Most affected are the elderly who had laboured throughout their youthful ages, trained their children believing that at old age, such a child would take care of them, but the irony is that these children have been rendered incapacitated by the society, as most of them are not gainfully employed. What then should we do? Leave them to die of hunger? No and No. That is where, we at Tolulope Foundation are coming in.
"The 2023 Eid marks the commencement of celebrating our senior citizens and parents whom our government and society may have forgotten. We owe it a responsibility to God and humanity to take care of them.

Declaring the event open, the presiding pastor, Lord Host Christian Ministry, Ibadan,
Pastor Bolaji Adeyanju said "the decision of the foundation to go into humanitarian services by feeding old ones when many are using foundations to exploit is inspirational and a divine call to service.
Pastor Adeyanju then prayed for the brain behind the project and those that God will use to support the it as well as calling on the beneficiaries to remember them in their prayers.
In their various good will messages, the guest of honor and former NUJ Chairman, Edo State council, Otunba Mike Aladenika and the Ibadan co-ordinator, Tolulope Foundation, Pastor Mrs Funso Adeyanju enjoined everyone to team up with the foundation to achieve the goals of this laudable project.

Tolulope Foundation is a non- governmental, non-religious and non-political, service based organisation.
