Imasuagbon Will Leverage On Agriculture To Tackle Unemployment, Insecurity In Edo.

A group under the aegis of Imansuangbon Solidarity Movement (ISM), says when voted into office, Kenneth Imansuangbon will leverage on comparative advantage of Edo state in agriculture to create the needed employment opportunities as well as curb insecurity in the state.

The movement through a statement made available to newsmen in Benin, stressed that Edo's  huge potential in agriculture remains largely untapped.
The convener of the movement, Eng. Isaac Ehigiamusoe, noted that the rhetorics that have plagued the sector over the years will give way to the needed investment.

According to him, Imansuangbon's administration will be focused on attracting needed investors across all agricultural value chain to give room for jobs creation.

In addition, he said farmers will be supported and encouraged through provision of loans and other farm implements for them to grow beyond subsistence farming.
"Imansuangbon's  plans for the sector is not just for jobs creation and food security, he also want to use investment in the sector to fight insecurity challenges in the state.

"You all will agree with me that when people are productively engaged, the least they think of is to commit crime.

"For Imansuangbon, challenges of insecurity is surmountable only if government is sincere and able to provide good governance to the people," he stated.
