Frontrunner in the Labour Party (LP) guber ticket for the 2024 Gubernatorial polls in Edo State, Barrister Kenneth Imansuangbon (aka The Riceman) has sent a solidarity message to teachers on the occasion of this year's Teachers Day.
Imansuangbon, who is the proprietor of an Abuja based Pacesetters Group of Schools, said that teachers deserve the best, being the ones that nurture kids outside their parents.
He asserted that the mannerism of children is influenced much by the upbringing that they get from their teachers most especially in their infant age.
According to him, "teachers contribute a lot in shaping the mannerism of children right from their infant ages such that the children grow up to be responsible adults as they grow up into adulthood.
"The efforts of teachers in making the lives of children conform with the basic requirements of adulthood in line with the culture of their forebearers so that they can emerge to shape the future of their generation and generations to come.
"It will not be an overdo to say that teachers deserve to be celebrated on a daily basis for all they do to build our children to adulthood. Their blessings of course should be on this earth and then extended to heaven."
