The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has honoured jointly, a philanthropic organization; Rosula Foundation and a Construction Firm; Nehemiah Grace Developers Ltd (NGDL) for their supportive services to the Force over the years.
At the recent official opening of a 3-day Criminal Investigation Workshop in Lagos for Detectives of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, both organizations were honoured in recognition of their corporate sponsorships and support to the force at various times whenever the need arose.
The Group Managing Director (GMD) of NGDL, Brig Gen. Emico Eruwa (rtd) received the joint award on behalf of the foundation’s Founder who is also the Executive Vice-Chairman (EVC) of NGDL, Princess (Mrs) Rosemary Osula Mku-Atu.
Addressing the workshop participants, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun said that the workshop signified a vital step in the on-going mission to reshape and further develop the standard of law enforcement and policing in Nigeria.
The IGP encouraged all participants to harness the gains of the workshop with open mind, share experiences and embrace collaboration in the discharge of their duties.
IGP Egbetokun expressed his gratitude to Princess (Mrs) Osula, who according to him “has consistently extended her humanitarian gestures to the Police Force in every area of their need.
In a brief remark while receiving the joint award on behalf of the two organisations, the GMD of NGDL, Brig Gen Eruwa thanked the IGP for the honour done Princess (Mrs) Osula Mku-Atu, expressing her personal desire to continue to support the force as a matter of patriotic obligation.
The NGDL team which was led to the occasion by Brig Gen Eruwa included ACP Tunde Sunmonu (rtd), ACP John Ajigidi (rtd), Mrs Dora Ogbu (PRO), SP Bimpe Shodeinde (rtd), CSP (Mrs) Beatrice Omeneki (rtd), Mrs Jennifer Nakpodia and Mr Vincent Ewere, amongst others.
