The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma,
Professor Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin, has called on the Muslim community, other members of staff and students of the institution to dedicate themselves to quality service that will grow the institution.

Professor Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin, in a statement personally issued and signed in Ekpoma, copies of which were made available to newsmen, said
"This special occasion is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity, and it reminds us of the values of sacrifice, devotion, and compassion. Importantly, it commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismail (Ishmael) as an act of obedience to Allah’s  command.

"At Ambrose Alli University, we are a community built on the principles of excellence, collaboration, and mutual respect. Just as Eid-el-Kabir teaches us the importance of sacrifice for the greater good, we recognise and appreciate the dedication and hard work each of us contributes to the success and growth of our university.”

The Acting Vice -Chancellor then
prayed that "this festive season bring you peace, joy, and fulfillment as we use it to strengthen our bonds, support one another, and continue to strive towards our shared goals. May our commitment to education, our love for our institution and the betterment of same never waver.”
