UI Alumni Pledge to Support AAUE's March to Greater Heights

The leadership and members of the University of Ibadan (U.I)Alumni Association,  Ekpoma Chapter have Pledged to join hands with the current management of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma in its desire to reposition and take the institution to a greater height.


The U.I. Alumni, AAU Chapter, led by its Vice Chairman, Professor Eunice Omoregie made the pledge while on a courtesy visit to the new Acting Vice Chancellor, AAUE, Professor Sunday Olowo  Samuel in his office. 
Professor Eunice Omoregie said the appointment of Professor Olowo Samuel as the new Acting Vice Chancellor was never a coincidence but a product of good work, dedication,  diligence and a high degree of humility displayed by Prof. Sunday Olowo Samuel 
"Your ability to give the much needed energy and expertise to help achieve  a genuine repositioning of the University is not in doubt. We are here to assure you that, as a body which you have helped to nurture, we will make ourselves, individually  and collectively, available to support your administration of the University to achieve  your desired goals of making AAUE great again. 
In his response, the Acting Vice Chancellor,  Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Professor Sunday Olowo Samuel, who is also an Alumnus of University of Ibadan thanked the visiting U.I Alumni for finding time to visit. 

Professor Sunday Olowo Samuel also appreciated their pledge, solidarity and  support. "There is not time for frivolities as there is so much to be done within a limited space of time. All the percieved wrong of the past are now been corrected, negative records are been straightened, backlog of staff promotions now being rectified among other issues receiving attention. 
"It will also interest you to know that our dynamic Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr Omo-Ehijele Frank Odafen  is also a distinguished Alumnus of the University of Ibadan who has been working tirelessly to bring our great University back to limelight. 

In the light of this new horizon, we all need to work as a team. All categories  of staff, the students population and other relevant stakeholders. We should put all hands on deck so that we can collective achieve these goals of making AAUE great again.
