The Management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma has Unveiled a comprehensive digital platform, "IMPACT 7" designed to address whatever digital challenge Universities may be facing in the process of conducting Computer Based Tests/Examinations, Online registration for students, digital results computation, transcript and certificate issuance, among other pressing challenges associated with studentship, academics and general administration of Universities in Nigeria.
Presenting the "IMPACT 7" model and its capabilities to solve multifarious issues, to the Acting Vice Chancellor, Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, Prof Sunday Olowo Samuel, the Acting Director, Information and Communication Technology,(ICT) Dr. O.M. Iniaghe said "IMPACT 7" is a platform designed to "set standards for Excellence through Innovative Systems and Structures in ICT operations.Dr. O.M. Iniaghe further said, "We designed IMPACT 7 to enhance Results Processing and Management, Improve the rate of Transcript Processing, Enhance Webometric Ranking, Establish a Virtual ICT Helpdesk and Support Center, Strategic Improvement of CBE Services, Creation of Digital Academic Profile for Academic Staff, Creation of Units in the Directorate and Enhancement of ICT Support Services for IGR Generation, among others.
"To ensure continuous improvement of IMPACT 7, various feedback mechanisms will be implemented. These include Surveys and Questionnaires to be regularly distributed to gather feedbacks from students, staffs and steakholders on ICT services and the overall impact of IMPACT 7. Schedule periodic meetings with key steakholders to discuss challenges, successes, and area of improvement in ICT operations."Today is a glorious day in the annals of our great institution. This is a right step in the right direction. The seven thematic points of IMPACT 7 are in line with the agenda of the current leaderships of the University as pilotted by our distinguished Council Chairman and Pro-Chancellor, Dr.Omo-Ehijele Frank Odafen and support by the management and staff of the University.
"I know that with the full implementation of IMPACT 7, the issue of transcript issuance delay and even racketeering as well as other ills will be corrected.
