ONDO 2024 : Olusola Ebiseni Tackles Gov Ayedatiwa, APC Government On Lagos/Calabar Coastal Road, Sundry issues

Ahead of the 2024 governorship election in Ondo State the governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Chief Ebiseni Olusola Nehemiah has declared that his Party would resuscitate the legacy of Labour Party in the state with a view to bringing the government back to the people.  

Chief Ebiseni who stated this  while feilding questions on  a Radio/Television  programme 

 said "the Labour Party, our party, is people focused.  From our Logo, which depicts our collective respect and regards for our families and people, to our manifesto, programs and agenda  are all people centered. 

"When you compare their logo, programs and articles of service to the people, our Labour Party is far ahead as we are more responsible to the people while they are more responsible to their pockets.

"The Labour Party has come to rescue our people from the shackles of scavengers who are feeding fat on our collective resources at the expense of the people. 

Chief Ebiseni Olusola Nehemiah  further said "Our team and Party  have done due diligence  about  the maladministration of the state in resent past and we make bold to say that Ondo State people deserve to take their government back. Our people  deserve to have a government that will work for them. 

"This is our agreement with our people.  We are determined to restore sanity in the day to day running of government business in the interest of our people. Ondo State people deserve more than what we are been offered. 

"Our people have stayed, for too long, in Egypt. We are determined  and more resolved  than before to librate our state for posterity.  There is no other time than now. It is Ondo State,Now or Never. Labour Party to the rescue,  

"If you remember the period  Labour Party was in government in Ondo State,  we had qualitative education which has been eroded now by the inept government of today. I can assure you that we will restore  our quality Education program.  Free and compulsory Education  will be back. Busary and scholarship for our students would be resuscitated. 

"We are assuring our people that with Labour Party back in Ondo State, no child of school age would ever the seen as been out of school.  Our mega schools will be back again. It is a thing of monumental shame that Ondo State government could not support our people with the payment of WAEC registration fees. Labour Party would take it as a priority to invest in our education.  

The Labour Party governorship candidate further said " with a retrospective look at our health sector,  the Labour Party in government, then, established the Mother and Child medical facility where our women and children  are been attended to free of charge.  What has become of this? They killed it . They took it out of the reach of our people.  With the return of Labour Party into government in Ondo State your free Mother and child hospital will be back again.

On the Lagos- Calabar coastal road project, Chief Ebiseni said

"People of Ondo State should ask Mr Governor who  incidentally is from ilaje to wake up and engage the Federal government. Every areas the road has passed, the community has been mobilised to engage the Federal government for alignment and re-allignment in their own strategic and socio-economic interests. 

"Unfortunately, in our case the critical and natural course of the road in our state has been avoided and it is such a  pity. It is not something we should keep quiet on. It is the responsibility of the governor to engage the federal government to ensure that we are given maximum benefit from that road."  

On the interventionist agencies like the Ondo State Oil Producing  Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) and the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Ebiseni  stated that the two agencies which used to be a government on their own as institutions for the development particularly of the coastal areas has literally been abandoned in our state because we have a governor even though of ilaje origin who does not seems to know what to do with OSOPADEC and NDDC.

He called on the people of the state to vote massively for Labour Party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election as Sola Ebiseni and Dayo Awude are determined to bring about the type of government people of Ondo State enjoyed under the last Labour Party administration.

 "As far as we are concerned, our experience is our weapon to give the people of Ondo State the type of governance they expect" he promised.
