The Pro-Chancellor and Members of the Governing Council, the Acting Vice-Chancellor and Management, Senate, Staff, and Students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, have commended Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his remarkable achievements in his first 100 days in office.
In a press statement issued by Otunba Mike Aladenika, Principal Assistant Registrar/Head, Information and Public Relations, the University acknowledged Governor Okpebholo's efforts in transforming the institution, saying, "Your first 100 days in office have marked a significant turnaround for our university, pointing to better days ahead for Edo State and our institution."
The statement highlighted several key achievements, including the increase in monthly subvention from ₦41 million to ₦500 million, the reinstatement of sacked lecturers, and the appointment and inauguration of a functional governing council. Governor Okpebholo's intervention in addressing the challenges faced by the university's college of medicine graduates, leading to their induction, was also commended.
As the university community celebrates Governor Okpebholo's first 100 days in office, they pray for his good health and success in piloting the affairs of the state.
